The bane vest is custom made to fit your measurements and is made adjustable all over the vest and belt. Because these are made by hand, no two will look exactly alone.
A LOT of research has gone into this vest & I have seen one of the REAL vest live in person, we have fine tuned the vest again. The aging on the kidney belt is done darker to match the actual vest better.
There are 4 main parts to the vest.
The front armor (with chest plates),
The under vest (this is the mesh part with back armor piece),
The kidney belt (Velcro closure in back under the black center piece, also adjusts with the straps on the sides of the back waist area) the shoulder straps and harness (these attach in the front and back of kidney belt and can easily be taken off to wear just the kidney belt.
The vest usually weighs about 4 to 6 lbs when finished and is made with high quality and durable fabrics. I offer different color options for the over vest and the armor pads, they are posted on my FB page in the Bane Album.
CONSTRUCTION TIME:
Turn Around Time is usually 60 - 90 Business Days (Monday - Friday) from day of order. But can be longer depending on our work load. Please confirm with us if you need it by a certain date before ordering.

Our turn around time changes week to week as we are in pretty high demand.
Costumes can take up to 6 weeks or longer to make so if you need it by a certain time please message me before placing order to confirm we can make your deadline.

When placing a custom order through my shop I do provide measurement chats that you can take to any local alterations shop or seamstress that can take them for your professionally. I make all of my costumes off the measurements you provide.
If a situation does ever come up that we agree to take back a garment to repair or remake (must be agreed upon with me the owner first!) The garment has to be returned in 7 days from the time of delivery confirmed With all original tags still attached & garment is not worn. There are always circumstances on a refund or exchange so just cooperate and communicate with me and I will be completely fair with you!
Getting your self measured is VERY important! You need to go to a tailor you trust! I suggest going to a tailor of the same sex as some of the full body measurements can be a little uncomfortable for either party. If you are not sure of your measurements you can always contact us directly for additional options.SHIPPING INFO
My shipping turn around time is generally 1 - 3 days or sooner for ready made items. Items purchased on Friday typically ship Monday morning unless higher grad shipping purchased besides 3 - 5 day. Custom made items vary (please inquire). I ship priority shipping, (except international) so you should receive your item within 3 - 5 business days unless specified differently by me.

IF you have "not confirmed" your address on your account AND/OR you have not used proper mailing address grammar ie (Capital letters, periods & proper street names or proper abbreviations) & there is a delay on your shipping SiQ Clothing (Susie Knudsen) is NOT responsible for this and will not issue a refund, exchange, return. You will need to contact your local post office to sort out your package location. We are not USPS or any other carrier and can not do anything after it has left our hands. In the case that USPS does return an item to us (undeliverables addresses only) we will contact you to work out re-shipping or refund details, circumstances may vary.
*Insurance is NOT included on any of my orders.
If you wish to have your item insured you will need to pay the extra ins. amount when paying for item, as SiQ Clothing (Susie Knudsen) will not be held responsible for any lost stolen or damaged packages once shipped.

***I am sorry but international shipping is not guaranteed. I typically ship international first class. You the Buyer are responsible for any Import tax or boarder taxes on items you may purchase from me as it is not included in our price. I work on a first come first serve basis for custom work. June to October are my busiest months so prices do fluctuate a bit. However my work is always guaranteed high quality.
I have been in business & been a seamstress for over 20 yrs now and take a HIGH amount of pride in my work. **NO returns, refunds or exchanges are accepted, as this is a custom build from scratch.

WASHING YOUR GARMENT: I typically include garment wash instructions with all of my costumes and costume pieces. If I have accidentally overlooked putting one in your order please contact me before washing as I will not be held responsible for any mistakes in cleaning wrong. BUT as a general rule of thumb I was all of my costumes in Cool water with Woolite or Ivory (YES Ivory dish soap works GREAT) It is used in a lot of Vegas shows for cleaning costumes.
I would NOT suggest any hard laundry detergents for any costumes. Once you have washed and rinsed thoroughly (you can soak in fabric softener for about 5 min if desired) Some main name detergents like Gain, Tide, ALL etc can be too hard on the costumes (Not all but some) If you are not sure please msg me first.

MEASUREMENT CHARTS: I provide measurement charts that show how to measure your self exactly for each costume piece. These can be emailed out to you upon request. Measurements MUST be taken with an actual measuring tape. DO NOT go by bra & pant sizes as this may cause your garment to possibly fit wrong. PLEASE DO NOT take the measurements yourself, but have someone do it for you as this could cause the costume not to fit right. You can take my charts to any local alterations shop or tailor to have these professionally done so you are ensured a good fitting costume.
CONSTRUCTION TIME: The turn around time varies on project and is produced in “business days” (Mon-Fri). If purchased all at once & if I have all the measurements needed to start the project a delivery date will be provided and/or negotiated.
